See how it works

You are about to type your debts into something. Here is what it is.

Moniti is operated by Dil Eight LLC, a limited liability company in Florida. It is being built, which means the planning approach described on this site exists before the product that will carry it.

What it does

You enter what you owe — balances, rates, minimum payments, and what you can pay each month. Moniti compares ways of repaying it, projects a timeline under assumptions it states, and explains which step follows from the figures.

That is the whole of it. It is a calculation you can check, not an assistant that acts for you.

What it does not do

Moniti does not connect to your bank accounts. It does not import your statements, move money, schedule payments, or apply for anything on your behalf. When a plan says to do something, doing it is yours.

It carries no third-party analytics and no crash-reporting software. It does not build advertising profiles, does not sell personal information, and does not see your card number.

How it makes money

Moniti may show offers from card issuers and lenders — a balance transfer card, a consolidation loan, a refinancing product. If you take one up through a link it showed, the provider or the affiliate network pays a commission. It costs you nothing: the terms are the provider’s, and they are the same whether you arrive through Moniti or not.

What we are paid plays no part in which offers appear or in what order. The catalogue the calculation reads carries the terms of each product — rate, promotional period, fees, amounts, who it is open to — and carries no commission figure at all, so there is nothing for a payout to weigh against. Offers are ordered by what they cost you.

Moniti is not a lender, a broker, or an agent of any provider. It does not decide whether you are approved, and showing an offer is not a recommendation to take it.

What it will not promise

A projection is not a guarantee of a payoff date, a lender’s approval, or a future rate. A monthly model cannot confirm that money will be in your account on each due date. Every example on this site states the assumptions it rests on, and none of them is a personal projection.

Where to check

The planning approach describes the sequence. Each calculator page shows its figures with the assumptions behind them.
